Rebecca T. Horton Scholarship
The RTH Scholarship was established in 1994 in memory of Rebecca Horton. It offers the gift of dance to a child who would otherwise not have the opportunity.
Rebecca T. Horton, a promising young dancer, died tragically on May 29, 1994 when the car she was traveling in with her father Doug, stepmother Robin and brother Oliver, was struck by a drunk driver. Rebecca was 11 years old at the time of the crash.
Rebecca had a passion for life as well as a true love of dance. A student of Dance Designs since the age of 3, Rebecca was able to express herself freely through Jazz, Ballet and Tap dancing. The knowledge and freedom she gained from dance helped her to be creative in all aspects of her life.
The RTH Scholarship Committee encourages any Cape Cod student who has special financial needs or circumstances to contact the committee at the address below.
The RTH Scholarship Committee holds several fund raising events throughout the year. Contributions of any amount are always welcomed in order to support this fund in memory of this special dancer,"Becky".The Rebecca T. Horton Scholarship Fund
